Developed at Heiligendamm during the G8 Summit 2007, this document outlines the key commitments of the G8 countries on climate change, clean energy and sustainable development issues, including:

Systemic stability and transparency of financial markets/hedge funds;
Freedom of investment, investment environment and social responsibility;
Promoting innovation – protecting innovation;
Climate change, energy efficiency and energy security - challenge and opportunity for world economic growth;
Responsibility for raw materials: transparency and sustainable growth;
Fight against corruption;
The “Heiligendamm Process” with major emerging economies – high level dialogue between G8 member Countries and Brazil, China, India, Mexico and South Africa.
