This paper present the comments of the Committee of Professional Agricultural Organisations in the EU and of the General Confederation of Agricultural Co-operatives in the EU to the Annex VII of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources, COM(2008) 19 final, containing the rules for calculating the greenhouse gas impact of biofuels, other bioliquids and their fossil fuel comparators.
