Rio+20 Italo-Brazilian sustainable energy agreement

Italy's Environment Minister has signed a bilateral agreement with Brazil for the promotion of sustainable energy. The signing took place during the UN Rio+20 Conference on sustainable development in Rio de Janeiro, and is geared to promoting the spread of sustainable energy in developing countries. The agreement is the upshot of 5 years of intensive Italo-Brazilian cooperation as joint leaders of the "GlobalBioEnergy Partnership," and was signed by Corrado Clini and his Brazilian counterpart, Edson Lobao.
