Biomass needs to be sustainable too. The development of bioenergy must be carefully managed so as not to put at risk the food security of the poorest. So says the report of the Global Bioenergy Partnership. Bioenergy can meet many important needs, among which is to satisfy higher energy demand and to cut CO2 emissions.
