Development meeting in Miami likely to push Latin America biofuels

As Inter-American Development Bank officials gather this week in Miami for their annual meeting, they say they want to make sure that smaller countries considering biofuels for domestic needs or for export to Europe and the gas-guzzling U.S. do so responsibly.The bank underwent last year a massive restructuring to let it respond more quickly to countries' needs and focus on other pressing issues such as renewable energy, sanitation, water and agriculture.
