A European drive to source a tenth of vehicle fuel from plants by 2020 may have to be scaled down. Brice Lalond, the head of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Developmentés round table on sustainable development said it may not be possible to hit the European target using sustainable methods as called for by European Union leaders in March.
