Rapid Sustainability assessment of soybean biodiesel in Paraguay
The sustainability of the soybean-based biodiesel value chain in Paraguay was analyzed in 2021 with a 3-month project under the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Paraguay (MAG), in collaboration with FAO Paraguay, FAO/GBEP team and the Centro de Estudio Ambientales y Sociales (CEAMSO).

Launch of the Rapid Implementation Framework handbook
The Handbook for the Rapid Implementation Framework for the GBEP (Global Bioenergy Partnership) Sustainability Indicators for Bioenergy was launched online on 8 December 2021. It provides a guide for practitioners to carry out a rapid assessment of the sustainability of their domestic bioenergy sector.
