The side event will present the work of the two GBEP Task Forces (Task Force on GHG Methodologies and Task Force on Sustainability) and will focus in particular on the 24 sustainability indicators agreed in May. ISAF XIX will be held in Verona (Italy) on 10-14 October 2011.

ISAF XIX will be co-located with the 2nd Lignocellulosic Bioethanol Conference, a major event on 2nd generation bioethanol technologies organised by the European Commission and Brazil.

In October 2011 GBEP will also take part in the Low Carbon Earth Summit 2011 (LCES 2011), which will take place in Dalian, China on 19-26 October. Dr. Corrado Clini, GBEP Chair, will participate in the summit and present the contribution of the Partnership to build international consensus on sustainable energy.
