Programme of Work
In line with GBEP’s Terms of Reference and the state of the international debate on bioenergy, GBEP Partners selected the following priority areas for the immediate programme of work:
- GBEP Report – “A Review of the Current State of Bioenergy Development in G8 + 5 countries.”
The Report was initially conceived as a starting point for a GBEP programme of work focused on sustainability and trade, following the deliberation of proposals prepared by UNEP and Italy. Released to the public on 13 November 2007, the Report provides a platform for future work of GBEP towards the sustainable development of bioenergy.
